By engaging the services of Turtledove Creative Ltd, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These are designed to provide clarity, set mutual expectations, and protect both parties throughout the course of the project.

1. Overview

Turtledove Creative Ltd is a UK-based design and branding consultancy offering creative services including branding, event graphics, marketing collateral, copywriting, and web design. We work with businesses of all sizes both in the UK and internationally, delivering thoughtful, effective design solutions with a personal, results-driven approach.

2. Proposals & Project Scope

● All projects begin with a written proposal outlining the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and cost.

● Any work requested beyond the agreed scope may affect cost and delivery time. Scope changes must be agreed in writing before proceeding.

● No work will commence until the proposal is approved by the client, and a deposit (if required) has been received.

3. Ownership & Usage Rights

● All creative assets, designs, source files, and concepts remain the property of Turtledove Creative Ltd until the final agreed balance has been paid in full.

● Upon full payment, the client receives full rights to use the final, approved deliverables.

● Drafts, unused concepts, or design proposals remain the intellectual property of Turtledove Creative Ltd and may not be reused or repurposed without written consent.

● Turtledove Creative Ltd reserves the right to showcase completed work in its portfolio, website, or promotional materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Payment Terms

● A deposit (typically 50%) may be required before work begins. The remaining balance is payable upon completion of the project or as outlined in your proposal.

● Invoices are issued digitally and are payable within 10 working days of issue unless otherwise agreed.

● All contracts are binding. Agreed fees must be paid in full unless a cancellation or adjustment is mutually agreed and confirmed in writing.

● Late payments may incur interest of 5% per month and may result in the suspension of ongoing work

5. Revisions & Feedback

● Projects typically include two rounds of revisions unless otherwise stated in the proposal.

● Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may be charged at an hourly or fixed rate.

● Timely, consolidated feedback helps ensure an efficient and productive process

6. Timelines & Deadlines

● We work hard to deliver on time and will communicate clearly if any delays are anticipated.

● Project timelines depend on prompt feedback and material delivery from the client. Delays on the client’s side may impact the timeline and final delivery date.

● Expedited work may be accepted depending on capacity and may be subject to a rush fee.

7. Client Responsibilities

● The client is responsible for providing all necessary content, assets, and approvals required for the completion of the project.

● All materials provided must be either owned by the client or cleared for use. Turtledove Creative Ltd is not responsible for any licensing or usage rights issues related to client-supplied content.

8. Cancellations & Termination

● Either party may cancel a project by providing written notice.

● If the client cancels the project, they are responsible for payment for any work completed up to the date of cancellation.

● Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.

● Turtledove Creative Ltd reserves the right to terminate a project due to non-payment, lack of communication, or if the working relationship becomes unworkable.

9. Confidentiality

● We treat all client materials and information as confidential and will not disclose them to third parties without written consent.

● Likewise, any materials, proposals, or processes shared by Turtledove Creative Ltd should not be shared or distributed without permission.

10. Liability

● We aim to deliver all work to the highest professional standard. However, Turtledove Creative Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses resulting from the use of delivered work.

● Final sign-off and proofreading are the responsibility of the client.

● Once approved, all materials are considered final and any subsequent changes may incur additional charges.

11. Ongoing Support

● Support or maintenance (e.g. website updates, design changes, content edits) is available on an hourly basis, as a service package, or under a retainer agreement.

● Support is subject to availability and should be booked in advance where possible.

12. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Turtledove Creative Ltd works with clients globally, and we will always do our best to accommodate international legal or procedural requirements where appropriate.
